Workshop: This one-day workshop will be an introduction to various styles of china painting, with an emphasis on Ilona's own china painting methods that she has created and developed in her 18 years of working with porcelain.

Ilona will begin by sharing images of her own and others work. Ilona will demonstrate ways to prepare and mix colors, transfer designs onto the clay, as well as other techniques of china paint application using a brush, pen, sponge, scratching and fingertip processes.

In the afternoon each student will have the chance to experiment with the demonstrated china painting techniques. Ilona will work with students on their own designs.
