Clay has been my lifelong passion and profession a medium that draws me into a sacred space where exploration risk and being fully present are at the heart of my process. After over 30 years honing my skills shaping forms I love and glazing I now embrace the freedom of full surrender offering my pots unglazed to the violent cross-draft fire where the magic occurs as flame wood ash and soda ash dance unpredictably around each piece leaving behind surfaces only the Kazegama kiln can create.
